What is an E-Paper?
E-Paper, a form of display technology, recreates traditional paper and ink for high contrast readability in various lighting, from direct sunlight to complete darkness. Microcapsules contain liquid-suspended charged particles, which move with an applied electric field to create different shades and colors. E-Paper has energy-savvy applications in e-readers, smartwatches, and electronic shelf labels.
Advantages Over Traditional Displays
E-Paper displays boast superior readability to regular displays, visibility in bright light, low energy draw, sleek design, wide viewing angles, and prolonged battery life. Perfect for portable gadgets and areas requiring low glare and power efficiency.
