Description
This 5.83″ Monochrome ePaper Display offers a 648×480 pixel active area. It has a high contrast, wide viewing angle, and ultra-low power consumption. With the COG package IC thickness of 280um, the display includes on-chip RAM and On-chip OTP waveform storage. It features bi-stability, commercial temperature range, and landscape/portrait mode. Plus, it has an integrated SP interface, oscillator, and voltage control for VCOM, Gate, and source driving voltage.
What is an E-Paper?
E-Paper, an electronic display tech, replicates the look of typical paper/ink. It boasts excellent contrast & readability even in direct sunlight, eliminating the need for a backlight. Images are formed by tiny microcapsules holding charged particles in liquid. An electric field makes the particles move up/down, showing varying shades/colors.
